Rockstar Games, developer of the wildly popular Grand Theft Auto video game series, will be presented with a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Fellowship at this year’s British Academy Games Awards.
Awarded annually, the Fellowship is the highest accolade bestowed by the Academy in recognition of an outstanding and exceptional contribution to film, television or games. Fellowships previously bestowed for groundbreaking work in games include Valve founder Gabe Newell, British video game designer Peter Molyneux, Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and Maxis founder Will Wright.
