WhatsApp Latest News & Update: Reveal New 'Video Calling' Feature

After months of speculations, the latest WhatsApp Update finally brings in the video calling feature. Currently on its beta version, the said feature is only available to Android and Windows Phone users. So how does it actually work? Both parties should download the update 2.16.318 in order to make and receive WhatsApp video calls.

Previously, the APK code of the WhatsApp update carries version 2.16.316, which was release few days ago. Take note that, while the said beta version is currently available to those who signed up for beta testing, third party applications also makes the update available on certain mobile phones. This however, can be a threat to users as third party applications are not supported with security updates coming from the original beta test.

Currently, the WhatsApp update in its beta version has a total of 31.07 MB file size. Unfortunately, this is only applicable to Android devices that have 2.3.4 and higher update versions. Users who wish to download the latest update can go to APKPolice.com. According to the NeuroGadget, this can also be acquired by joining the beta program in the Play Store.
For third party apps users, make sure to create a backup of all your chat messages before trying to install the new version. In some cases, the new version won't work wherein, the best way to do it it, is to uninstall the entire WhatsApp application and re-install it, login and check whether the WhatsApp video calling works.

This latest WhatsApp update is one of the most anticipated feature to arrive on the application. WhatsApp video calling, if it passes the beta version may just be the upcoming rival of the Google Duo.

ChatGPT comes to Android next week, but you can sign up today

Two months after   launching for iOS , ChatGPT is available to “pre-order” for Android users who want to take   the ubiquitous chatbot  on the go. If it’s anywhere as popular as the iPhone version, expect to see some big numbers over the next few weeks. The ChatGPT app on Android  looks to be more or less identical to the iOS one in functionality, meaning it gets most if not all of the web-based version’s features. You should be able to sync your conversations and preferences across devices, too — so if you’re iPhone at home and Android at work, no worries. Of course it won’t be completely identical, since the two mobile operating systems differ in many way
