Beyonce and Jay Z 'struggling to find their$75million price Dream Home
But it has now been reported that Beyonce and Jay Z only want to stay there until September - but are struggling to find a permanent home they love.
According to TMZ, the musicians have been searching for their perfect family home for several years, but have failed to find a pad that meets their needs for their $75million budget.
The site reports that the 35-year-old singer and her rapper beau, 47, only plan to stay in Malibu for the summer, as their daughter Blue Ivy is enrolled in a school elsewhere.
However, the pair are believed to be struggling to find a home that is worth the huge price tag.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have rented mansions in LA previously, but never bought in the city; being outbid in previous attempts by fashion designer Tom Ford and Minecraft creator Markus Persson.
Earlier this week it emerged they were currently residing in a lavish 10-bedroom, 14-bathroom Malibu pad, where they will raise their newborn twins over the summer.
Beyonce welcomed twins, believed to be a boy and a girl, prematurely on June 12 - with her father confirming the news a week later.
The pair are now said to be renting the $400,000-a-month mansion, known as La Villa Contenta until the end of August, and moved in on Wednesday after leaving hospital with her newborns.
On Sunday, her mother Tina Knowles Lawson, 63, was spotted arriving at the luxurious house to visit the twins – pulling up in a black Porsche SUV and wearing her trademark gold bracelets.
Her daughter and the new babies then spent just over a week at the hospital before being allowed to leave.Set on a bluff overlooking the sea, La Villa Contenta has extensive 6.3 acre grounds, which contain a rose garden with more than 1,000 flower bushes, a landscaped desert area and a tennis court complete with a viewing deck.
Other buildings on the estate, which is listed for sale at $54.5m, include a 'natatorium' – or pool house – 'inspired by grand European follies', a large office building and a staff housing complex.
According to the property listing, furnishings inside the main villa include a 'museum-quality' Chippendale mirror and 18th century chandeliers carved from amethyst and rock crystal.
Next to the front door is a 2,500-year-old lion's head bust that was discovered at the base of Mount Vesuvius in Italy.
The Crazy in Love singer has spent much of the last week holed up inside Los Angeles' UCLA Hospital, where the children were reportedly delivered by caesarean section on June 12.
The couple had been living at an equally impressive $55m mansion in Los Angeles' upmarket Holmby Hills neighborhood in the run-up to the birth.
